Bio district Sörmland non profit organisation formed

Bio district Sörmland forms a non-profit association and appoints its first board to strengthen collaboration around a sustainable local food system.

Bio district Sörmland has taken the next important step in its development! On June 18th, the non-profit association Bio district Sörmland was formed, which will ensure that the work continues. At the meeting, the association's first board was appointed, consisting of Anna Sundberg, Harriet Nilsson, Helena Nordlund, Jenny Askenfelt, Linus Källander, Sofi Gerber, and Tim Lux, together with the deputies Jostein Hertwig and Ulf Engström.

"We are so happy to have such a strong team with representatives from local and regional authorities and business support organisations in Sörmland, who now want to work across boundaries to strengthen the conditions for a sustainable, local food system. Now, we have established a platform for collaboration that can fill the gaps between the actors working with organic production and consumption", says Sofi Gerber, the coordinator of Bio district Sörmland
